Most Illustrious Lords and Ladies, having now sufficiently considered that the specimens of all those who proclaim themselves skilled contrivers of software and systems architectures, and the invention and operation of the said architectures, and the processes for developing them, are nothing different from those in common use: I shall endeavor, without prejudice to any one else, to explain myself to your Excellencies, showing you my unique aspects, and then offering them to your best pleasure and approbation to work with effect at opportune moments on all those things which, in part, shall be briefly noted below.

  1. I have a sort of extremely light and strong design patterns, conceived to be most easily implemented, and with them you may pursue, and at any time adapt to the challenges of changing requirements; and others, secure and indestructible by high load and of great capacity, elegant and convenient to develop and maintain. Also methods of overcoming those of the competition.

  2. I know how, when bottlenecks arise, to identify sources, and make an endless variety of horizontal and vertical scaling strategies, fault tolerant and highly performant, and address all concerns pertaining to such constraints.

  3. If, by reason of the hardware limitations, or the difficulties of peering relationship or network capacity, it is impossible, when creating solutions, to avail oneself of the original strategies, I have methods for re-factoring solutions, and deploying operational approaches to best transcend the constraints imposed, and also adapt to alternate routes and protocols.

  4. Again, I have kinds of agile processes; most convenient and pleasant to carry out; and with them accelerate efficient development; and with the power of these cause great productivity to the developer, bringing great joy and clarity to all.

  5. And if the situation should demand it I have kinds of many languages and tools most efficient for creation and solution; and bring results which will resist the challenge of the greatest traffic and complexity and usability requirements.

  6. I have means, both esoteric and well known, without fanfare, to reach a designated solution, even if it were needed to overtake a rival or a great unforeseen obstacle.

  7. I will make elegant API’s, secure and powerful, which, met by the enemy with their attack, there is no body of code so great but they would break them. And through these, private data shall flow secure and unimpeded.

  8. In case of need I will make data stores, relational, and NoSQL of fine and useful forms, both out of the proven common type, and of the latest design as requirements demand.

  9. Where the operation of known technologies might fail, I would contrive systems, architectures, process adaptations, and services of marvelous efficacy and not in wide use. And in short, according to the variety of cases, I shall create various and endless means of service and product.

  10. I believe I can give perfect satisfaction and to the equal of any other in leading architecture and the composition of software as a service public and private; and in guiding data from cloud to cloud.

  11. I can carry out development in rapid prototype, proof of concept, or production hardened, and also I can do in conceptual brainstorming whatever may be done, as well as any other, be he who he may.

Again, these tools and processes may be taken in hand, which are to be to the immortal glory and eternal honor of your happy memory, and of your Illustrious House.

And if any of the above-named things seem to anyone to be impossible or not feasible, I am most ready to make the proof in a chosen place, and provide reference to the history thereof, as may please your Excellencies - to whom I commit myself with the utmost humility.
